WMI Achieves AWI, QCP and FSC ® Certifications

August 15, 2011

WMI achieves AWI certification. Windham Millwork, Inc has achieved significant certifications in the woodworking industry. WMI takes pride in the quality they produce and especially the process to create that quality under the Architectural Woodwork Institute Standards. WMI, which is a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI), has achieved both the AWI Quality Certification Program (QCP) and also FSC ® Certification.

AWI Quality Certification Program (QCP is a valuable quality assurance tool that ensures custom, interior architectural woodwork, one of the most highly visible aspects of many construction projects. Comprehensive testing and inspecting leads WMI to earn certification. WMI had to demonstrate the ability to fabricate, finish and/or install work in accordance with the quality grade criteria set forth in the Architectural Woodwork Standards (AWS). This certification is vital to WMI and validates its commitment to quality through AWI standards. WMI achieves AWI certification due to meeting strict requirements and quality levels.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ® Certification is a mechanism for WMI to demonstrate our commitment to the FSC ® Principles and Criteria for responsible forest management and be part of the FSC ® solution. In conclusion, WMI takes great pride in this process and what the FSC ® stands for.
